Event Description

We’ll be kicking off the West Coast leg of our Summer RCF tour with the 5th Annual Renegade Craft Fair San Francisco on July 21+22, 2012! We’ll return to the beautiful Fort Mason Center from 11am-7pm each day, where you’ll find 250+ of today’s very best indie crafters, fun and creative hands-on workshops, music, food, booze + plenty more. Get ready, San Francisco, it’s gonna be a great time!

We are so excited about this year’s lineup of mega-talented artists and crafters! See them all on our San Francisco Artist Page!

Feeling a little crafty yourself? Check out workshops where you can do it yourself with projects by the Urban Craft Center (they’ll be teaching needle-felting from their rad RV o’ craft), Creative Bug (a rotating roster of local crafters will lead a variety of DIY projects just for you!), The Museum of Craft and Design (you can make paper feather projects on Saturday and drawstring coin pouches on Sunday), and Pebeo (you can paint your own ceramic tile using their new paint pens)!

Design gurus from Handful of Salt will help attendees explore the craft of modern design while selling subscriptions to their soon-to-be-released print magazine and encouraging visitors to vote for their favorite RCF vendor for a future profile in Handful of Salt.

Not to be missed are tasty treats from local SF foodies Tante’s, Neeto’s Cafe, Patti Wagon, and Rice, Paper, Scissors! And you can’t forget to get your photobooth photo at the always free-to-use photobooth courtesy of Magnolia Photobooth Co. Some of San Francisco’s best local DJs will be spinning rock, pop, and soul tracks all weekend to keep you in the shopping + crafting mood. And last but not least, be sure to stop by the official RCF booth to enter a free raffle!
