DESCRIPTION:We all know the Bay Area has tons of software meetups, but
  where's the hardware love? We're bringing together anyone who interes
 ted in building a business in the world of physical products: from com
 pany boards to organic soap. The purpose of the group is to start to b
 uild the hardware startup community by: bringing people together, brin
 ging in experts in the fields of hardware & form entrepreneurs who've 
 done it before, and also to build a better picture of the hardware sce
 ne so we can all find the resources we need to make this happen.\nThe 
 team at OpenROV is inviting us to a Q&A event they're doing at TechSho
 p SF on Tuesday, July 24th. OpenROV is an open source robotic submarin
 e designed to make underwater exploration possible for everyone. They'
 ve built a great community as well: from their vibrant forum on OpenRO
 V.com to their Kickstarter getting funded within hours. They've done a
  lot we can all learn from and are very close to the pulse of the make
 r and hardware movements - so I think it'd be a great opportunity to d
 iscuss all things robotics, open source hardware, and Kickstarter.\n\n
