Bigger font sizes get bigger reactions. Could this change the way we present information?

Could this give designers the ammunition they need to persuade clients into keeping information simple (KISS)?

Also, researchers have found that people retain information if an unusual font is used. File that under 'go figure'.

No, but I would guess they were talking about grunge typography

Also, a lot of research points to the fact the people react better to sites that are more on the visual side than the text heavy side. I don't know if people are basing the larger font sizes on research or on a trend 8)
