Building a tree swing is a great outdoor project and it's something kids can share.

Making an electric kart for kids goes down well, in fact anything you make that they can drive will always be a winner. We have some free plans to download at www.electric-go-kart.co.uk. For older kids a project like this can really inspire them to get interested in engineering and science.
