Has anyone had issues with Mountain Lion over the last week? I have been having repeated kernel panics on my MacBook Pro and issues with Safari, plus many other quirks.

I was quoted in this article:

http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/369723/20120802/mac-os-x-mountain-l...

My views:

1. Software releases should never drop when Mercury is in retrograde 8).

2. If you know there is an issue, why release it just to frustrate folks.

3. I am always eager to upgrade, I like to make sure my fonts work with the new OS.

I wonder how many people upgrade on the first day, compared to the percentage that waits until the kinks get worked out?
