What are your favorite publications that write on design?

Here is my shortlist:

  1. Slanted A Magazine in the German language that likes to keep their fingers on the pulse of experimentation.
  2. Eye Magazine More on the heady side of Graphic Communications.
  3. I love Typography A blog that lives up to its name, great posts and reviews.
  4. Page Magazine A magazine and website that showcases interesting illustration, design and typography. A wonderful resource for sugar free eye candy.

Please let me know some of your picks, I would be interested in seeing interior design, textile design and many more genres.

Harvard Business Review occasionally has some excellent pieces on design. Wired is of course an excellent resource as well, and that is what finds us here. MIT's Technology Review is a great resource for remaining informed not only regarding design, but much of the technology that drives it.

My subscriptions include;

  1. Wired
  2. Uppercase - more about creativity than pure design
  3. Print
  4. Letter Arts Review - I'm a novice calligrapher, so while more art than design, there are amazing explorations of layout and page design in the artwork showcased
