Old university lectern converted to a standing desk.
The conversion involved the insertion of a dual layer mdf surface which provides ample room for working.
The lectern features solid wheels for portability, an internal powerboard, solid cabinet doors and enough internal space for a small bar fridge.
I would estimate that the lectern requires 1/5th of the floor space of my old workstation. I prefer standing with the option of taking a seat as required.
